What is more beautiful than seeing a shadow bathed in the sunrise
or the sunset
or the moonlight
in balance with the earth
How mighty everyone looks, without faces, without names.
In stillness
In movement
In creativity.
Our shadows must not be our enemies
I see them most as our friends
Through all our little flaws
which start wars and bloodshed
Our shadows show merely our outline
what we have shaped ourselves to be
With that, we don't seem so bad, do we?
Because we can only shine as bright as the world can see
and our darkness is only as dark as the world can recognize
our darkness-
our peace
our rest
our stillness
are so close!
why can't
All of our light
our activity
our love
this light that surrounds our shadows
be seen by ourselves
so that we do not have the need to try to deny others
of their own
or the sunset
or the moonlight
in balance with the earth
How mighty everyone looks, without faces, without names.
In stillness
In movement
In creativity.
Our shadows must not be our enemies
I see them most as our friends
Through all our little flaws
which start wars and bloodshed
Our shadows show merely our outline
